Insurance intro

doormat saying welcome

What if you get very sick and are unable to work? What if a storm damages your house? What if you crash your car? We all like to believe these things won't happen to us. But the reality is that they do happen to someone every day.

Insurance is all about protecting yourself from the financial loss caused by the "what ifs" and giving you peace of mind.

Some insurance is compulsory - you have to take out car insurance if you want to drive, buildings insurance if you want a mortgage to be approved - but you can still shop around for the best deals and get the product that is right for you.

Other types of insurance are down to you to decide if you want them. Protecting your income from redundancy, your health and your home may be very important to you. Protecting a pet against future vet bills, or an electrical appliance from breaking down after you've bought it may be less so - you may be willing to just accept those risks.
