We've got an endowment shortfall
Matt works in advertising. Rashmi works in HR. Matt and Rashmi's agreed period is coming to an end on their mortgage. They will be looking to remortgage within the next three weeks.
They have been saving into an endowment policy which has a projected shortfall. They have also been "saving for a rainy day" by investing their maximum annual tax-free allowance into a cash ISA.
"We want to know which mortgage product would be best for us and how we should deal with the shortfall in our endowment" said Matt.
