Dave is 35 and works for DMGT. Julie gave up work to look after their two children when they were young and hasn't worked since. They have little savings to fall back on.
Over the years, Dave and Julie have added to their mortgage to fund home improvements and large purchases like a new car. They have not been able to save. Recent talk in the office has made Dave fearful of losing his job.
