Where does the news come from?

You might be wondering where the news which we display on our home page comes from.

We get it from publicly available "news feeds" which are sometimes called RSS, which can stand for "Really Simple Syndication".

News feeds are published by other websites. They provide an automatically updated news output (the 'feed'), which our website re-displays, so you can see the latest news.

We are not claiming that the feed is our own content, and if you click on a link, this will take you to third party websites and resources. Links are provided for your information only. We have selected news feeds only from third party websites that we trust. However, you need to understand that we have no control over the contents of those third party websites or resources and accept no liability for them or for any loss of damage that may arise from your use of them.
